US Economic Tracking Index

Economic Indicator

The US Economic Tracking Index is calculated from 12 leading indicators representing four key sectors: Manufacturing, Consumption, Real Estate, and the Labor Market. The index ranges from 0 to 100. A lower score reflects a more resilient economy, while a higher score indicates significant weakening in economic activity.

Global Market Overview

Global Analysis

Shows the relationship between earnings growth and market valuations of major global markets compared with history. The horizontal axis represents the percentile of 12-month trailing EPS growth (TTM) since 2000. The vertical axis represents the percentile of the current P/B valuation within the same historical period. A higher percentile indicates that current growth or valuation is at a higher level compared to the past.

Volatility Index

Global Analysis

Indicates the level of market volatility. The index is calculated using the 50-day average of the largest relative price change between two days. In areas where this index rises significantly, large flows of capital are often engaging in distribution or washout activities, causing prices to be continuously driven down.

Breadth Index

Global Analysis

Indicates the breadth of the market by measuring the proportion of stocks that have gained more than 20% over the past 50 days. The advantage of this index is that it reflects the consensus of the majority of stocks, rather than being influenced by a single index that is often driven by large-cap stocks. When the index reaches extreme levels, it signals that market consensus is very strong.

Matching ratio 50D (%)

Global Analysis

This index measures market sentiment by taking the 50-day average of the ratio between the number of executed buy orders and the total number of buy orders placed. A high ratio indicates strong enthusiasm and FOMO-driven behavior, as buyers are willing to trade immediately rather than wait for better prices.

Average Order Volume 50D

Global Analysis

This index measures the level of retail investor participation by calculating the average share volume per buy order over the past 50 days. When the index is low, it indicates that demand mainly comes from retail investors with relatively small trade sizes.
